Garrett Take-up

Edenborn and Garrett take-up devices produce coils with the vertical axis. The take-up devices are designed to work with rods from 5.5 mm to 50 mm at the rod rotation speed of up to 40 m/s.
The design is compact and durable. The pipes are laid in such a way as to obtain an ideally shaped coil output. Bearings are protected from thermal radiation.
Features:
Wide range of applications, including heavy and large coils.
Improvements in winding capacity and spool shape
- Two special filling tubes for large rods and small wires. The large filling pipe is equipped with a pressure roller at one end (Japanese patent). The small one can adjust the pouring angles and extension length;
- Perfect bends thanks to complete control of vibrations during rotation of the winding machine.

Preventing Coil Defects
- The internal pins are retracted when the coil is unloaded (Japanese Patent 729368);
- The coils can be handled without moving them on the machine (Japanese utility model 1003805).
Reel stability when moving
- Devices for holding coils on the rotator and two-plate conveyor (both Japanese patents pending);
- Prevent coils from slipping and falling.
