The Sket-group static vertical pay-off unit of the SG-SV series is designed for unwinding wire made of low, medium and high-carbon steel, stainless steel or zinc and zinc alloys with a wire rod diameter up to 16 mm using a continuous wire rod removal system without stopping the technological process.

The Sket-group SG-RS series wire mechanical descaling unit significantly reduces production costs, without the use of pickling solutions, the need for wastewater treatment, water preparation and additional construction work for cleaning and pickling equipment. Cleaning the surface of hot-rolled products from scale by the bending method improves the plastic properties of the metal, which contributes to a more efficient drawing process.
The roller mechanical descaler is suitable for low, medium and high-carbon wire rod with a diameter from 5.5 to 24.0 mm.

The Sket-group SG-RG Series belt grinding machine for wire descaling allows to minimize production costs while providing, in combination with the SG-RS wire mechanical descaling unit, without the use of pickling solutions, an ideal process for further drawing. Cleaning the surface of hot-rolled products from scale by the method of belt grinding removes all visible surface defects and residual scale formation on the wire rod, eliminating the appearance of new ones, such as (risks and grinding skips).

The equipment units after removing residual scale from the wire rod surface of the SG-WS, SG-BS, SG-WRD series are the final process of preparing the wire rod for subsequent smooth drawing and ensure uniform and stable passage of the wire through the drawing drums for subsequent winding in the winding device.

The SG-MS series horizontal take-up unit is an advanced development of Sket-group in terms of versatility of application of all types of winding coils from the GOST, GB, DIN, EN standards to individual ones according to Customer drawings.
